Pregnancy & Waiting on the arrival of Sawyer!

I thought maybe I should give "blogging" another try to document the end of this pregnancy & the experience of being a new mom that is coming soon!

We had the luxury of finding out that we were having a baby BOY at just 13 weeks & 4 days! It's amazing what technology can do.

Here are the photos that we have taken this pregnancy (we have not done the best job keeping up, but hey at least it is something!):

This one was during my terrible "Morning Sickness" AKA "all day sickness" that I thought would NEVER end

and then the first FULL week of not puking my guts up!

HALF WAY!
Feeling great!

Feeling BIG

Now we are on the 90 day countdown until Sawyer's due date!

Holiday wrap-up, 1st anniversary...and catch up

Time flies by when you're having fun...right?! Well there must have been some fun going on in my life then. So here's the condensed version of the Bradley post-holiday wrap-up...

Thanksgiving at our house was great! Plenty of food, no disasters...and we found seats for everyone. Christmas was nice this year too, with my first 4-day Christmas holiday actually on Christmas as a nurse! So nice to have off with everyone else, instead of working a 12 hour shift!

Warren &  I also celebrated our first anniversary of marriage. What a year this has been... Getting married, new house, new jobs for BOTH of us all in the first 6 months of our marriage. We are very blessed to have each other and I can't imagine spending this life with anyone else.

We DID remember to eat the top layer of our cake. Even if we remembered at oh like 9:00 that night! (There's a method to thawing it out--which of course we could not follow!!) It was important to me to take on the sacred tradition of eating the cake on our 1st anniversary.

After our wedding I made sure that cake was fully dressed to the max in a freezer friendly fashion that would last one year. I took it out of one freezer and drove it in the front seat of my car & immediately placed it in our new freezer when we moved to our new house. It took up a huge chunk of the bottom shelf of the freezer during its year long stay. I prepared to eat that cake on our 1-year anniversary & I FORGOT to thaw it!!!!

Despite the last minute unpreparedness, the cake was still DELICIOUS! (Our friends Kim & Ward even had a slice a few days later!) I wish I had a "before" picture to show you how it came out of the freezer, but nonetheless here it is in all it's glory, cake topper & all!

We spent New Years Eve with our best of friends, aka "the posse" (to be explained in more detail later) and had a GREAT time... and I got to introduce them to the honey-butter-chicken biscuit from Whataburger at 2 a.m..... they truly are the best friends!

Which leads me to the recent Valentine's Day, where Warren & I spent a relaxing evening at home like an old married couple. No fancy dinner needed in this marriage. Ha!

So now, that I have finished "catching up"... I hope to keep this blog up-to-date in the future... as I am inspired by the blogs that I read from others!

Holidays

Holidays...

Yes, that time is among us.  This will be the first Thanksgiving that Warren & I host at our house.  Both sides of the family will be coming tomorrow for lunch! Luckily, my mother agreed to the turkey & dressing, so I was able to skip out on two of the most important pieces.  We did host Easter lunch here, but there was not as many people that day as there will be tomorrow.  I'm interested to see how this turns out, there should be about 14-16 people in all. It will definitely be a FULL house!

A lot of people do not like to rush the Christmas season, but I say "bring it on"! At work we can only get one station to come in on the radio that we play all day- 96.5... well on Monday we were surprised to hear  ***CHRISTMAS MUSIC*** It has played the entire work day for the last 3 days, and I have to say it is nice!!

I convinced Warren to bring down the Christmas decorations so that I could decorate last weekend!  I wanted to decorate the mantel, too & it actually turned out really well!! This will be our first Christmas to celebrate in the new house! Our 2nd as husband & wife...our anniversary is coming up on December 17th!  I look forward to the future & the new traditions that we will make as a family during the holiday seasons.

Until next time....

This is my first "blog".  I work with a girl, sweet Danielle, who blogs often & I read them.  Everytime I read them, I think, this is neat! (But she is pregnant & her life seems interesting!! Ha!) Well today she convinced me to start a blog too! So here I am... Just an ordinary girl married to the love of her life. Oh, we have a spoiled little dog named Bart too! Enjoy some of these pictures  & blasts from the past....

This is where Warren asked me to marry him
